Rendon just finished our home renovation project and we couldn't be happier! They redesigned the layout of our first floor, moving our kitchen and dining room. They also converted our carport to an expanded garage with a large pantry and mudroom. The communication throughout our project was excellent. All of the tradesman we were in contact with on a daily basis were friendly, hardworking, and accommodating (to us still living in the house). We completely reconfigured our first floor, and the layout they came up with was way better than what I originally thought. They were great throughout the process, and of course the work is very good. Also, they were very thoughtful about keeping our kids spaces as normal as possible, which we really appreciated. Lindsay Guthrie26 March 2026We don’t have enough great things to say about Rendon and their quality, attention to detail, and customer service. We hired Rendon to complete a long term construction project that our previous contractor didn’t finish. Rendon helped us scope the remaining work, identified a few areas the previous contractors did that might cause us future issues, and made some design suggestions that completed the work without breaking the bank. While they aren’t the cheapest, I have to believe if we’d started here we probably would have spent less money in the long run and certainly saved a lot of time and frustration, highly recommend.Posted on Google

Karen S19 January 2026If you are looking four the cheapest, keep looking, these guys are definitely not it. If you are looking for quality work by quality people, at reasonable prices, -look no further, these guys are definitely it. Having suffered PTSD from some VERY BAD (nightmare) construction and remodeling experiences we were hesitant. However, based off a neighbor’s referral we rolled the dice and met with the Rendon team. The initial meetings definitely provided a sense of a genuine expertise in the trade, and a care for our needs and our concerns (with a significant understanding of the extra TLC that would be needed based off the scars left from our previous experiences). Having a consistent team that you can easily communicate with, that not only listens, but actually hears you, works to find root causes of issues and not just a quick cosmetic fix, makes sure to communicate promptly throughout the project, and warranties their work……like winning the lotto. WOW! Jackpot! Michael, Joey, and the entire Rendon Team that we worked with are so fabulous that we actually have projects lined up for the next three years. Such a wonderful experience and a complete 180 from the previous experiences with construction companies in the DMV area. Matt Elkins22 December 2025We moved into our Chantilly colonial back in 2019 because we were in love with the neighborhood. However, the house itself, while perfectly serviceable, had several layout flaws and general pain points for us. In December of 2023 my wife and I finally decided it was time to act and began soliciting various remodeling companies for what we knew would be a major renovation. Over the next half year we had 10 different companies come by to talk over the plans and give us their thoughts and estimates. Some of them ghosted us when we didn't jump immediately to sign a deal; some of them worked with us for a bit but seemed stuck on their own ideas and didn't seem to really be listening to us; some seemed incapable of so large a job; some of them came across as fishy; one of them offered a quote so far to the right of the bell curve we would have needed a second monitor just to plot it. Ultimately we went with Rendon Remodeling, the one company that avoided all those pitfalls, and we do not regret it at all. They were not the cheapest, landing solidly on the right side of the bell curve on price, but they were worth every penny. This does not mean they were perfect -- the job was massive with so many ways for things to go wrong that expecting perfection would have been entirely unrealistic. What really set Rendon apart was how they handled it when things did go wrong; they didn't try to hide it, brush it off, or put it on us, but instead focused on how to correct the situation and continue moving ahead. And given the size of the job, remarkably few things went wrong at all. We did a complete gut and overhaul of our top two levels, leaving the basement mostly alone. We moved two full bathrooms, the kitchen, the laundry, and nearly every interior wall. We built a 225 sq ft addition off the back and completely rebuilt the deck. We added a second HVAC zone, two new circuit boxes, and a water softener. The job involved re-plumbing, re-wiring, and re-ducting most of the house. For all this, Rendon estimated only 5 - 7 months after breaking ground and delivered within the promised window (at just over 6 months). Delays were minor and infrequent -- it was clear that they were focused on getting the work done for us. Prior to starting actual construction, Rendon did considerable work with us to design and prepare for the job. Their contracted architect, Luca, took in lots of input from us, added his own creative ideas, and turned it all into workable plans. Amy worked with us to make selections, guiding us through an extensive process that was mind-numbing even with help and would have been nearly impossible without. Mike coordinated everything and stayed on top of keeping pricing up to date to help inform our decisions, while his brother Joey managed the actual renovation once it was underway. All in all it took most of a year to plan everything out, with the speed of the job being mostly dependent on us. One of the best things about Rendon was that they were up-front about everything. We've read and heard some horror stories -- unexplained sudden price hikes after you are in too deep to back out easily, problems discovered late and then just left unaddressed since most of the payment has gone through, etc. Rendon didn't engage in any of those shenanigans; it is clear they either value their reputation or are just plain honest people -- most likely both. To me, this by itself justifies the above-average price tag. We have been living in our renovated house now for over 3 months and it has been great. A few minor surface issues cropped up, but ultimately very little for the amount of work done (and Rendon came by without complaint to address anything we've mentioned to them). The place is far more comfortable now thanks to Rendon's work. We recommend them wholeheartedly for large projects and would absolutely use them again in the future, should the need arise.Posted on Google

We were also happy with the design input we received, how responsive everyone was to any questions or concerns we had, and the transparency of communication about materials and timing. It was a pleasure working with them, and we would work with them again in the future if we had any other plans to remodel another part of our house. Edit: We worked with Rendon again for another house project—this time with work (closet, expansion of usable space in the room) in our kid’s bedroom and a storage/closet in a second bedroom. Total master bedroom and bathroom remodel, 2 bathroom upgrades, total kitchen remodel, windows and siding replacement and recently a foyer makeover. They are responsive, thorough and take pride in their work. John Burton16 January 2024We engaged Rendon Remodeling and Design to replace our aging deck with a screened porch. We discussed several design options starting first with our concept. Rendon recommended modifications to our concept which improved the look and functionality of the entire project. Once we settled on the design, we needed to work together to obtain a waiver through the county zoning board. After a long and tedious process, we were given the green light to proceed. Rendon began demolition and construction which took about 2 ½ months. They kept us informed regarding progress and at several points in the process discussed project details to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. The resulting screened porch, decking, and stairway are a fantastic new area of our house. We enjoy the space tremendously and are continually amazed at the design and details of the new porch. Paul Escalera21 December 2023We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with the Rendon team (Mike, Joey, Leo and Beth). They finished off part of our basement into a living space complete with bedroom, full bath, laundry room, living room and kitchenette. In the early stages they worked with us to hone the price while balancing the functionality we needed. The contractor team they brought in from the electricians to the plumbers were professional and courteous. We encountered some challenges during the build, but they worked with us to identify solutions quickly.
