Have you ever had such a good experience with a company that it made you want to work there? It makes sense that if a company leaves a positive impact on you, that you might start to see them as a great option for an employer.

This was the case for Amy and Beth, who both began as customers, and are now lifetime customers and employees of Rendon Remodeling & Design! It was a pleasure working with them as customers, and now we enjoy working with them in a different capacity.

Hiring enthusiastic former customers onto our team has been an incredible experience for everyone. Keep reading to learn more about Amy and Beth’s Rendon Remodeling & Design stories.

Amy’s Story:

Amy joined Rendon Remodeling & Design in 2013, after hiring us for a project on her house. “I had redone my previous house from top to bottom and never hired the same contractor twice. When I finally used Rendon for a project, their quality of work and attention to detail impressed me so much that I asked them if I could come to work for them,” says Amy.

Amy has a degree in Architectural Design and previously had more of a commercial design background, but she says her first love has always been home design. “As Rendon’s Design Consultant, I assist our customers with things like cabinetry layout/design, as well as material selections such as plumbing, tile, countertops and lighting,” says Amy. “It is important to me to make the process as enjoyable and painless as possible, and give our clients their dream spaces while keeping them on budget.”

One of the things Amy enjoys most about her work at Rendon Remodeling & Design is helping customers realize their vision for their spaces and transforming their homes. In recent years, Amy and her family have moved into another home and they have continued to use Rendon Remodeling & Design for several remodels as well as expand their home with an addition.

Amy is now a valuable part of our team and a lifelong customer. “I never hesitate to recommend Rendon to friends and family, which I would never feel comfortable with if I didn’t have such a strong belief in the work we do,” she says.

Beth’s Story:

Beth was introduced to Rendon Remodeling & Design in 2012 after a cracked PVC pipe caused her basement to flood. After the four inches of water on the floor was removed, she needed to hire someone to renovate the space.

Prior to 2012, Beth and her family had hired a few different handymen for small renovation projects, but the results were varied. “One of the projects turned out fine. The other was a disaster,” she says. “I knew our basement project was too big and complicated for a handyman.  We needed a reputable company with a strong project manager.”

In her search for a high-quality company, Beth came across Rendon Remodeling & Design. “My neighbor had used Rendon Remodeling & Design to put an addition on their house. She spoke very highly of the company, especially the project manager, Joey Rendon. She said he was at her house every day overseeing the project. That’s what I needed,” says Beth.

So, she hired Rendon Remodeling & Design, and we completed the project in time and within her budget. “I am a very picky person and was pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of their work, but also by their kind and friendly employees,” says Beth. The success of this project, as well as a master bathroom project a few years later, led Beth to take an interest in working for us.

“I have been a stay-at-home mom to 3 children for the past 20+ years.  My youngest son was a sophomore/junior in high school last year during the pandemic. Because all of his activities were canceled, I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands,” says Beth. “I wanted to get a part-time job in an industry I liked with a company I respected.  Rendon Remodeling & Design was the first company that came to mind.  So I called Mike to see if they needed help, and he said they did!”

Beth is now a part-time Project Coordinator for Rendon Remodeling & Design, and we’ve been happy to have her on the team. She is another great example of a happy customer turning into a valuable employee.
